I named this table Kazoku, it’s Japanese for family.
When not on set or behind my desk writing, I’m in my woodshop.
Even though the machinery is loud, it is my quiet place.
Last summer my loving parents asked me to make a table for the family.
I designed a table that not only breathes serenity but also enhances it.
The dinner table in our family is where all crucial matters in our lives have been discussed.
This square is where we share blood, toil and beers.
Where our thoughts mingle, grow and roam freely.
Where laughter, gravy, grieves and mum’s spaghetti’s are all spilled equally.
This is where, time and time again, we redefine what we love the most.
One another.
